Swarm Collection Notice (2026 Season)

Thanks so much for getting in touch about a bee swarm — I really appreciate you looking out for them 🐝

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to collect or respond to swarm reports during the 2026 season. I know how important it is to get the right help quickly, so I recommend contacting your local beekeeping association, who have experienced volunteers ready to assist.

Local to Colchester Essex Area:

UK Wide:

British Beekeepers Association (BBKA): (use their swarm finder service)

They’ll be able to connect you with a local beekeeper who can safely collect the swarm. There may be costs involved to cover expenses and relocation.
